Susan Weisner (Cello) has taught violin and cello for the Westside of Los Angeles for over twenty years. She has taught string programs at Overland Elementary School and Head Start, and currently teaches cello at the R.D. Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles. She
has taught rnusic theory at the Southern California Suzuki institute for rnany years. She studied Suzuki violin teaching with Idell Low, John Kendall, Lorra»ne Fink, Vuko Mori and William Starr, and has participated in other intensive Suzuki courses. Susan took Suzuki cello training with Tanya Carey, Barbara Wampner, Nancy Yamagata and Nancy Hair, among others, and has studied music theory teaching with Michiko Yurko. Susan also actively participated as a Suzuki parent with her two sons.
