Alyse Korn (Suzuki ECE) professional pianist, composer and arranger, began her piano studies at age four. She attended the University of Miami, Florida where she received a Bachelor's of Music in Studio Music and Jazz in 1990. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alyse relocated to Southern California and graduated with her MFA in Jazz piano performance from the California Institute of the Arts in 1992. She has completed SAA coursework in Suzuki Piano Books 1-7, Pedagogy, SPA, and Suzuki ECE Phase 1 - 3. Alyse has taught at Suzuki workshops and institutes in the U.S. and most recently, Brazil. Her Suzuki teacher trainers include Doris Koppleman, Peggy Swingle, Cathy Hargrave, Rae Kate Shen and Dorothy Jones.

Alyse teaches Suzuki piano at her private studio in Santa Clarita, CA and Suzuki ECE for ages birth -3 through the City of Santa Clarita Parks & Recreation. Alyse performs on a regular basis with her Latin-Jazz quartet, chamber trio, Salsa bands and a 16-piece Jazz Orchestra.
